Additionally, the ARC family program helps loved ones understand the nature of complex addiction issues and begins the process of resolution and healing from the damage endured during active addiction.
Our treatment philosophy focuses on eliminating our client’s negative forms of self expression while nurturing and revitalizing their individual strengths. We create personalized treatment plans and provide a continuum of support beyond Primary Care through a continuity of residential services in Phase 2 (Continuing Care) and Phase 3 (Extended Care).

We provide a full-spectrum of individual therapies that help each client to receive treatment in a way that works within the framework of their own belief systems and individual experiences.
Individual therapy is one cornerstone of the ARC treatment philosophy.
Some of the methodologies utilized during daily individual sessions are:
Grief Therapy
Trauma Therapy
Somatic Therapy
Reflective Therapy
Analytical Therapy
Insight-Based Therapy
Reason-Based Therapy
Psychodynamic Therapy
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
Phase 1 residential treatment incorporates individual therapy with education about alcohol and drug addiction. This level of care begins with an in-depth assessment that helps to determine what personalized treatment planning can be implemented to help each individual client with their individual issues. From this assessment a plan of action is initiated to achieve both short-term and long-term addiction recovery goals. If clients choose, they may participate in ongoing care with ARC in Phase 2 and Phase 3. In situations where time constraints or outside obligations prevent continuing residential treatment a strong aftercare plan is developed with the aid of the clients primary clinician. This plan secures placement in supportive aftercare services and helps clients overcome any unforeseen future challenges on their road to sustained recovery.
ARC is dedicated to providing a healing environment that takes into consideration all aspects of our client’s individual circumstances and experiences. For more information about our alcohol and drug treatment center call 877 415 HOPE for a free assessment and to have all your questions answered.
Effective Drug Rehabilitation with ARC Begins with a Phone CallThe treatment process with
ARC begins prior to admission with a detailed telephonic assessment conducted by certified intake counselors. Information is gathered in the form of a admissions profile and is presented to the medical team and treatment begins once the client arrives at the center. Onsite medical detoxification is traditionally the first step in the ARC rehabilitation process. A full history and physical exam by our staff physicians determines the necessary medications that will be needed to ease withdrawal symptoms, if any are anticipated or present.
The clinical team, also apprised of the new client’s clinical history from the intake counselor, begins to formulate a personalized treatment plan focused on the immediate needs of the client. Once the medical detoxification procedures have been established a primary clinician is assigned who will begin to interact with the new client to lend support, empathy and to build trust in the developing clinical relationship.
Due to the variance in medical procedures based on the primary substance of choice fueling the need for drug rehabilitation to begin with, the clinical team implements “spot sessions” as the withdrawal process begins to exasperate feelings and emotions that have lain dormant during the majority of the addictive process. ARC provides all medical services with clinical continuity of care during the detox period, ensuring clients and their loved ones that successful completion of the detoxification program will take place.
Once comfortable detox has been concluded the primary clinician will begin to work more intently with the client and through doing so, develop a personalized treatment plan based on the individual circumstances that have led to the need for drug rehabilitation services.
The ARC multi-disciplinary team of licensed professionals, having already developed an interpersonal relationship with the client during the detox process will begin to coordinate treatment with the primary clinician. The focus of treatment is on assessing where each client is testing on the spectrum of abuse – addiction as well as the underlying issues contributing to the patterns of the addictive process. Successful drug rehabilitation at the center also incorporates addiction education, relapse prevention, experiential therapy, individual therapy and group therapy. These services are all thoughtfully combined with the result of an effective, personalized program of recovery.
Drug abuse and drug addiction both lead to the need for drug rehabilitation. However, at ARC treatment differs for the two. If you or someone you know is in need of treatment for drug abuse or drug addiction then call 877 415 HOPE to begin the process of recovery today. Our credentialed staff will assist you in finding the help you need and answer any questions you might have.
Drug Abuse vs. Drug Addiction
More often than not, drug rehab programs do not disseminate between drug abusing and drug addicted individuals when providing treatment. In most cases this is a contraindicated approach to treating the full spectrum of drug abuse – drug addiction.
Successful drug treatment for an individual suffering from drug abuse should differ from treatment provided to an individual suffering from drug addiction. This is primarily because when a drug rehab program provides an individual who does not have an extensive history of addictive behaviors with the same treatment as an individual who is exhibiting issues of abuse, the ability for that individual to identify with the intense demoralizing experiences is compromised by a lack of personally relatable circumstances to draw from.
Usually, the demoralizing experience of living with an addiction is the leverage a drug rehab program needs to present rigid lifestyle changes that although difficult to initially implement, over the course of time will help transform a person into a happier, healthier human being. Since most drug rehab programs rely on this personal acknowledgement of the negative circumstances resulting from alcohol and drug addiction, any apparent lack of these negative circumstances will create a rift in the treatment process for the drug abusing individual unable to relate their own experiences to the more intense experiences of the people about them.
This crack in the treatment can allow the drug abusing individual to separate themselves from their peers, the treatment staff, and the rigid lifestyle changes that are being presented as the solution to the addictive process.
Ultimately, abuse issues are manifested in a mental obsession, followed by a series of compulsive behaviors. Because the abuse issues are centered first in the brain, the individual without identifiable experiences of reference and relationship will wind up relying on the same resource that led them into issues of abuse in the first place, their own mind.So it is of the utmost importance that a drug rehab program not only accurately evaluate where an individual is testing on this spectrum of abuse vs. addiction but also that they provide treatment to individuals in consideration of their personal history and current circumstances.
This patient, more comprehensive treatment approach offered by ARC enables each individual to be taught in their own unique way and nurtures the process of developing insight and awareness so that abstinence and recovery can be achieved and maintained. This separation of abuse vs. addiction does not mean that one substance is harder or easier to recovery from than another. It simply means that a drug rehab program must identify the level of abuse or addiction that an individual is suffering from before proper and appropriate care for the individual can truly be provided in a meaningful and successful fashion.
ARC is committed to creating personalized treatment plans that identify where our clients are on the spectrum of abuse – addiction.Examples of abuse and addiction issues we can help with are: marijuana abuse, marijuana addiction, meth abuse, meth addiction, crank abuse, crank addiction, crystal abuse, crystal addiction, ice abuse, ice addiction, cocaine abuse, cocaine addiction, crack abuse, crack addiction, opiate abuse, opiate addiction, heroin abuse, heroin addiction, soma abuse, soma addiction, klonopin abuse, klonopin addiction, xanax abuse, xanax addiction, valium abuse, valium addiction, percocet abuse, percocet addiction, vicodin abuse, vicodin addiction, benzodiazepine abuse, benzodiazepine addiction, barbiturate abuse, barbiturate addiction, methadone abuse and methadone addiction.
